hi !
i've downloaded build-1.0_r5-r2.tbz2 and want to build a custom
system using portage.
now i only have a dialup connection to the internet.
what would be the correct procedure to install pppd and wvdial
in the chrooted environment ?
what versions of reiserfsprogs and mkswap do i need on my
host-system to make the filesystems ?
i may get the packages (sources and ebuilds) with my working
debian system.
once i'm connected, it should work fine for me...
(yeah, i know it takes HOURS with 56Kb, but i did that with
Debian/Unstable as well.)
any advice or links ?
ciao
peter
