Subject: [gentoo-dev] Gentoo on ext2
Date: Mon Jul 23 11:34:01 2001 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20010723123353.A4455@edgeoftheweb.org> (raw)
I have install Gentoo on an Ext2 partition and am having some trouble.
In the file
/etc/rc.d/config/basic
I set
FSCKFIX=yes
I wrote this down by hand, I apologze if the errors are not exactly as
they appeared but they should be close...
Ext2 on Gentoo [oops]
Acivating swap...
>>Error Activating Swap [oops]
Checking Root Filesystem...
>>Root Filesystem errors corrected [oops]
Remounting root Filesystem...

>>Filesystem errors corrected [oops]
I don't know what happened with swap. I use it for my Debian system as well
with no problems. As for the ext2 error I went looking in rcboot.d but from
there I wasn't sure...
I would appreciate any help.
