Is it normal for an app to be listed in the snapshot (.ebuild script),
and not have that app actually available on the ftp site?

Eterm-0.8.10.ebuilt and Eterm-0.9.ebuild are both in the snapshot, yet
only 8.10 exists on the ftp site.

Yes, this is common because we don't yet have a system for continually
building new packages.
