Hi gentoo-posse.

Recently having installed gentoo (the build snapshot) and had some very
good help from #gentoo, I ran into a minor issue that g2boojum told me to
bring up here.

'make menuconfig' in /usr/src/linux-2.4.6, with today's linux 2.4.6 ebuild
showed incorrect characters for the extended character set (the part of
the character set used to draw lines in the menus).

I run the stock 2.4.4-ac9 kernel that comes with the build snapshot. I've
not selected/changed the character set manually. I've follwed the
instructions on the installation page
(http://www.gentoo.org/doc/build.html).

The only thing I can think of is my change in /etc/rc.d/config/basic,
where I have

KEYMAP="no"
CONSOLEFONT="grfixed"

Kind regards,

Karl T
