The stock /etc/devfsd.conf retains the permissions I've set for sound devices, but how can I make it hang onto /dev/scd0&1 for my ide-scsi cdroms? Right now I have to do MAKEDEV each time I want to use them; they disappear with each boot. -- Collins Richey Denver Area Gentoo_rc5 XFCE
