Anyone else having issues with XMMS in rc5 (both off the cd and after
rsyncing ebuilding it [both with 1.2.4r3 and 1.2.5) emerges fine, segfaults
on startup.
More so does anyone have a clue as to why?

make sure there aren't any plugins installed that were not compiled
against the current version.

That was it *pat self* forgot to unmerge previous ebuild.

I unmerged the old one, but the unmerge won't remove any plugins you
installed afterword. those were what was causing mine to segfault.
