Hi,

Anybody getting cat: Broken Pipe error, can try a solutions which has worked for me on3 different machines.

activate ur swap and then emerge the system package or the linux kernel package in which u get this error and then it goes smoothly. as for rc5-r2 i think there is an erro in the iso itself.
