Hi devs,

It seems we have a problem with the gnome-applet lib at the moment. All
applets segfault currently.
We will fix this soon. The gnome apps themselves are not affected by
this issue, they work fine.

bye achim~

I found the cause for that bug.

To fix it manually do

cp -a /opt/gnome/etc/* /etc/opt/gnome/
rm -r /opt/gnome/etc
ln -s /etc/opt/gnome /opt/gnome/etc

The FHS2.1 fixes where not done for all gnome packages so not all
packages installed config files to
/etc/opt/gnome
I will add this symlink workaround to the gnome-env package, To make
sure it works untill all packages are
FHS2.1 reworked.

bye achim~

this is also the cause (and solution) of gnomecc (control-center) not showing it's capplets.
