Hi there,
I agree that we need some kind of CVS mailing list; however, I'm not sure
about how it should be implemented. Should posting be restricted to cvs
committers only? Should committers be required to post to this list to
describe their commits? How does this impact /usr/portage/ChangeLog?

Hi,
The cvs mailing lists I am familiar with on other projects do not allow you
to post messages - they simply send an automated message whenever a commit
takes place.

It's written in python and it says it's currently an alpha release. I assume this
is the engine behind the other projects I know with CVS mailing lists as I can't
find any other projects like this :)

OK, I think I figured out how to do it and tie it into mailman; thanks for the
