Hey sorry if this is the wrong list.
I have a problem with the new release, the kernel freezes after detecting
partitions. The last thing seen is scsi.I have removed every card (except
video)no help.Is there a way of passing a no scsi option to the kernel?
  Thanks
   Shawn K

What version of Gentoo Linux are you installing, and what kind of SCSI card
