There's no point in reading *anything* else below here, because you've made one BIG assumption. We *do* pay taxes. When $company hires me to do work for them, I fill out a W-9. This means that *I* am an independent contractor and *I* am responsible for paying the taxes on my income. Gentoo has nothing to do with it. All liabilities are on the individual and the company. --=20 Chris Gianelloni Release Engineering - Strategic Lead x86 Architecture Team Games - Developer Gentoo Linux --=-AV0wv5oywnQTRm24H1TK Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBFAsUPkT4lNIS36YERAtEEAJ9BKFh2b3051m/zFJPdznfhSpk2ewCdGAwq qx9F+JcyUvFo2dw0pSm72z8= =8odN -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-AV0wv5oywnQTRm24H1TK-- -- gentoo-dev@gentoo.org mailing list
