No, if they want to contribute, they can buy the release stuff. The reason for not marking up the source DVD would be the GPL pretty much says that you can charge a reasonable amount for the work required (media/shipping) to get them the sources. That amount would be the base price from Cafepress. Also, as much as those "threads" claim people are willing to pay, actual store sales beg to differ. --=20 Chris Gianelloni Release Engineering - Strategic Lead x86 Architecture Team Games - Developer Gentoo Linux --=-MKaD2lYj3rSQ3TimuPfk Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.4 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBErAgikT4lNIS36YERAor4AKCGo/7TWIzdPRCI2nm4sWN5ieJkzQCgro3L ECSDUbH7zbdaEzAmGQQ3yJg= =6AqL -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-MKaD2lYj3rSQ3TimuPfk-- -- gentoo-dev@gentoo.org mailing list
