There exists 48 deprecated profiles in the tree.
I've wondered about this myself about when is a good time to flush them.
(>2 release cycles >1 year?)

How about lets flush the 10 *-2004.[0-1]*/deprecated profiles for
starters?
Or do you wish to propose this might be a good time to flush all 48
profiles that are marked as deprecated?
