That is doesn't unmerge something that shouldn't be unmerged? I've never had a problem with it, but I always -p before running a --depclean. There is also the problem where a USE flag change causes breakage if the applications that use that flag are not rebuilt before doing the --depclean. Perfect example: USE=3Dacl emerge coreutils emerge --depclean ls --=20 Chris Gianelloni Release Engineering - Operations/QA Manager Games - Developer Gentoo Linux --=-yvd8/gMght8rBWdZqpKK Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBBpSWukT4lNIS36YERAmYPAKC6fXQTFuTnD6fefHzP6AYNXt5DxQCgpTyV ReYNcd+5FfTPuCSWIxzoIF4= =ZYk9 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-yvd8/gMght8rBWdZqpKK--
