These stages are considered as the first set of test-stages for 2004.3. The stages are build using a cascaded profile, i.e. "default-linux/x86/2004.2". The current stable release of portage doesn't handle cascaded profiles properly, so if you want to test the stages, make sure to set the appropriate keywords in /etc/portage/package.keywords so that portage-2.0.51_rc1 gets installed on bootstrap/emerge system. The stages will hit the mirrors soon (in the next few hours). They will be in experimental/x86/stages/x86/, their datestamp is 20040920. Comments and bug-reports should go to a special-purpose bug I just created: bug 64757 Regards, Benni --=20 Benjamin Judas --------------------------------------------------------------------- = =20 Gentoo-developer http://dev.gentoo.org/~beejay Giessen, Germany http://www.gentoo.org GPG-Key : 0xC31DEDD8 Key-Fingerprint : 4E65 AAFE 785B 61D8 E4D9 1671 E017 87B7 C31D EDD8 Jabber : beejay@im.gentoo.org --=-6+BmdgKcT2+fbNa8Wibf Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: Dies ist ein digital signierter Nachrichtenteil -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBBTuwG4BeHt8Md7dgRAkY6AJ9O0NME63CtdZ162eCdfEjusaf9swCfSYRG +/R1bD2mHlixKkdADyWoqxk= =ibWy -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-6+BmdgKcT2+fbNa8Wibf--
