I have a few Pentium MMX laying around........ :-) >=20 Not sure if it will work that way, and I guess it will depend if there is no 3dnow instructions in use - might be interesting to test though. It might just be that for the k6, even with -march/cpu=3Di586, things are compiled wrong (and might be for some athlon as well). As a side note, do you have a relative more complete list of what is not working ? Try to be more specific - portage will not cut it, as it was only utils from coreutils that segfaulted for coredumb, rather is it python as well, etc. Thanks, --=20 Martin Schlemmer Gentoo Linux Developer, Desktop/System Team Developer Cape Town, South Africa --=-mbQU3mUddX37Cgmgz/20 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQA/oVXzqburzKaJYLYRAst1AJ9IUOt2740Kg+BIWkhUyqgRdEU8/wCfTPNl eWBfLdSE7/MtrtZE7HxSXDc= =l+dy -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-mbQU3mUddX37Cgmgz/20--
