A lot of packages currently do not compile with gcc-3.3 so I installed gcc-3.2 but that unmerged gcc-3.3! Worse, 'emerge -u world' reinstalled gcc-3.3. I know, I can inject 3.3 but that's not what I want. I want to use gcc-3.3 as default and want to use gcc-3.2 for those packages that do not compile with gcc-3.3 but that's not possible because of the same SLOT. Any solutions? (Or is this the price to pay for "~x86"?) Thanks! -mk- -- Markus Krainer -- gentoo-dev@gentoo.org mailing list
