I'm building mythtv for qt-embedded, rather than QT, but the X11
requirements are still there for QT, so I have to do do the build by
hand.  this is easy enough, but having a virtual/qt would eliminate the
problem.  it would also make porting to qt-embedded rather slick.

someone care to add this, or tell me why it's a bad idea?

FIle a bug and assign it to the kde team.
