I want to test LiveCDs using UML, but the UML-kernels don't support cloop. I don't really want to burn a CD and spend one of my boxes to continuously try installing Gentoo. Ofcourse, if anyone know a UML-sources with cloop, that would be appreciated too :) Wkr, Sven Vermeulen -- Save some animals, eat a vegetarian. I'm a poor student without VMWare :) If we however could get UML with cloop working, this would be great. Wkr, Sven Vermeulen -- ^__^ And Larry saw that it was Perfect. What's the problem with cloop? Which version of cloop are you trying to use? Do you have any more information about why it doesn't work? What errors occur when you try to insmod cloop? Or do the errors occur when you try to mount /dev/cloop? And what kernel have you patched to add UML into? Current implementations of cloop only work with Linux 2.4. File a bug, and assign it to me. Even the poorest of students can evaluate VMWare for 30 days for free. ;] -- Chris Gianelloni Developer, Gentoo Linux Games Team Is your power animal a penguin?
