Hi all,

just a little feedback on the installation CD 20030806 (and above). I
have a french keyboard. and have to run "gentoo dokeymap".
I would suggest to propose this option by default. In fact, I have to
type :
"gentoo dokey,qp" which can be disturbing for new users.

thx

I'd rather see a working "loadkeys" for the people who have forgotten to
select "dokeymap".

Also, if one implements "dokeymap" as default, please attach a timer on it
(as is the case with tomsrtbt) so it doesn't linger forever.

dho ! Why is Automatically mount at boot is disabled in the genkernel config ?

[*] /dev file system support (EXPERIMENTAL)
[ ] Automatically mount at boot

Because the init scripts take care of mounting the dev filesystem, and while
it is now also possible to run with premounted dev filesystems, there are
some advantages of mounting /dev in the init phase.
