X-Archives-Salt: 9046b6d8-7f51-4ebe-b934-95fd9affd7b7 X-Archives-Hash: 973ffab6f0fb9de55d80c4053d36dcd3 Well it wont lose any of your data or damage your hardware... it just wont get your eth0 interface up! so you wont be able to read my mail :) There seems to be a problem with the latest baselayout (bug #21376) After rebooting the interface doesnt come up... its behaving weirdly. The simple soulution is to roll back to the older baselayout. emerge /usr/portage/sys-apps/baselayout/baselayout-1.8.6.7.ebuild etc-update Hope the good guys fix this soon or mask it. phew!!! scary :) Spundun -- gentoo-dev@gentoo.org mailing list
