It has got nothing to do with xftconfig which is my second point, xft package is *incompatible* with xfree 4.3.0-r2 (as mentionned in the ebuild) and if you upgraded from 4.2.1 (as i did), it doesn't uninstall it (tried that on 2 gentoo 1.4rc3 from 4.2.1 to 4.3.0-r2) and i had to : emerge unmerge xft (which contains xft-config) Steph On Thu, 2003-05-08 at 22:21, Tomas Styblo wrote: > My changes to XftConfig had no effect.
