I could try to run strace on apache, but the biggest problem is not the CPU it uses.. The problem is that it just stops to work. Yesterday I got a "MaxClients reached" error and MaxClients is 200.. After that it=20 didn't "recover" so I had to restart it before any new connections were possible. Since that happened 8h after I started the server again, I doubt that I can strace this particular problem? Or do I miss something? thx, Ben --=-V6VyyLz8h3Ccrmsw0rUU Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQA+mnlmeGGfskjv0zURAlU9AJ9UTMdyykixXhqq9YUB/7jvKAV13QCeISLz 2qUFTXfcnKzP8waN+TAS9xQ= =8CsF -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-V6VyyLz8h3Ccrmsw0rUU--
