[gentoo-dev] KDEPIM ebuild doesn't run configure

	Hi all,

		I've kde 3.1 working in my gentoo 1.2, but today I try to run: emerge
kdepim, but then gentoo prints out this:

.....
checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.1 (20021021)) (library
qt-mt) not found. Please check your installation!
For more details about this problem, look at the end of config.log.
Make sure that you have compiled Qt with thread support!

!!! ERROR: kde-base/kdepim-3.1 failed.
!!! Function kde_src_compile, Line -3092, Exitcode 1
!!! died running ./configure, kde_src_compile:configure


	after this I make: emerge -s qt:

...

*  x11-libs/qt
        Latest version available: 3.1.0-r3
        Latest version installed: 3.1.0-r3
        Size of downloaded files: 13,062 kB
        Homepage:    http://www.trolltech.com/
        Description: QT version 3.1.0

...

	have anyone an idea??

iirc there's an qt-mt USE-flag. Take a look at the
USE-flag-descriptions, add it and recompile qt. I hope this fixes your
problem.

That will NOT help. The qt 3.x ebuilds do not care abut the qtmt flag, only 
the 2.x ones do. In fact if you built a non-multithreading qt3, no kde app 
and few qt apps wold work with it, so almost noone wants that.

As for the orig problem: please look in config.log in the builddir to see hwy 
the test really failed. Often it fails beacuse it's the first test when 
something big is compiled and there's some compiler problem.
