I would like to test the unstable, but i did not find the package
ttmkfdir-3.0.4 for xfree.
where can i get it ?

Yea, this is an issue. Change the SRC_URI from
http://www.gentoo.org/~azarah/${P}.tar.bz2"
to
http://cvs.gentoo.org/~azarah/${P}.tar.bz2"
The 1.4 upgrade guide has broken links for the same reason. It links to
carpaski's web area.
I know that services are being moved off of chiba, so maybe that
explains why this occurred. Can you gentoo web guys set up a redirect or
something?

it's in /usr/portage/x11-misc/ttmkfdir/, try to sync if it's not.
To install it you'll have to chdir to the above directory an call
"emerge ttmkfdir-3.0.4.ebuild"
