Hi,

Dan Armak told me to offer my nightly KDE CVS builds here - he told me
that uploading them to ibiblio.org would be a nice thing.

If people want these nightly KDE builds - which compile settings would
you prefer? I don't really care, since my box is fast enough to run even
not very well optimized packages.

These builds will be made with gcc2.95.3, since I don't have a gcc3 box
yet (sorry).

Cheers,
Timo

	I could provide gcc3 nightly builds for kde-cvs. I compile them already for
my own needs. I'd be happy to upload them somewhere where they can be shared.

How about icc (the intel compiler) compiled KDE nightlies? Is that possible?
It seems that icc compiled binaries are somewhat better optimized, and it
even seems that way if I google long enough :)

Also, from what I've heard, the icc C++ implementation seems to be better than
our own 'old faithful' g++.

Or are there licensing issues in the way that prevent this to be possible?

Cheers,
Emiel
