I've emerged logrotate and it looks like it doesn't come with any config at all (not even samples). Would it be bad to implement a system like
debian have with /etc/logrotate.d where packages (ebuilds) can put in entries for thier own logs? All that's needed in the /etc/logrotate.conf is a include line.

Just read manpage and documentation, in the manpage there are samples and hints
how to setup such a directory
