Hi, well.. that's it.  An ebuild GTK+ editor I'm writing in C. 
This is a very embrional/early/unstable version of "ebuilded".

Right now it is only able to write ebuilds, it can't open/load
'em yet. (I'm currently working on the parsing code.)

The program needs libs GTK+2 installed.
A screenshot is available here:
http://www.gentoo.org/~stroke/
The source tarball is there as well.

Ah.. just emerge ebuilded to give it a try.

ok, here is your feedback:

i love your tool. i see that not all functions are ready for use but writing 
ebuilds works fine.

i'm very interested in what features the new version will include. i'm looking 
at the source in the next days and will send you my opinion about this 
programm. i'm very interested in coding some things for you. the problem is, 
that i can't open the glade project of ebuilded. maybe i'm doing something 
wrong. i got this error when opening ebuilded.glade with glade:

1 errors opening project file:

Line 1 - Invalid XML entity
##

can you say what the problem is???

some ideas - what about:
- syntax highlighting
- preferences where i can set set font

Don't expect too much from the source... yet. :-)

Sure :-) You have to get GLADE for GTK+2/GNOME2.
(gnome2 support is not needed).

Using Gentoo you have to unmask it in /usr/portage/profiles/package.mask
it is glade-1.1.0-r1

The old GLADE won't work.
