Hi All,
People are having some problems with the glibc upgrade frying their
systems, so until this problem is fixed (I'll post when it is), I
recommend that people *hold off* on upgrading to 1.0. Installing 1.0
from scratch is not a problem, however. Please bear with us as we
attempt to fix some last-minute but important upgrade quirks.
Best Regards,

I'm assuming that I should still hold off on upgrading. Is that correct?
(I don't mean to pester.)

AFAIK many people have upgraded in the last few days without problems.
Also #gentoo channel displayed such topic 2 or so days ago: "upgrading should
work now, please test", so I presume you can try...

Well one of the main problems with this list is the fact that it sometimes
just acts as a slow mirror of the #gentoo channel as bs_argh / bs9000 once
remarked. It's not a problem for me but people who don't spend 1/3 of their
life in there it could be rather annoying, perhaps we all just should be a
bit better to announce if we found / solved a bug.
