If I find a bug in a ebuild and know the solution, should I post a bug
report on bugzilla or just email the maintainer?

I've made an ebuild for LAM-MPI message passing library. I've tried to
submit it attachment to an "ebuild" bug, but it keeps failing saing that
no file is selected for attachment. I'm using galeon 1.2.0 and mozilla
0.9.9 on gentoo. Any idea?

Bugzilla, please. The author/maintainer info is slowly going away
because it's rarely accurate.

it is probably something on the server side, as it obviously
seems to fail with any browser.
there are at least three "meta-bugs" posted on bugzilla
concerning this error:
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=71
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1038
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1195
could one of the bug-owners increase the severity level so this
gets fixed?
