He's not bringing .NET to Linux or into GNOME. If you read the slashdot
[slashdot.org] article from today I believe, he says that he is only
bringing C# and the Common Language Runtime or Environment. Anywho, it
allows you to use any combination of languages to write a program. Neat
idea, I just don't like the implementers. :)
BTW C# is Microsoft's take on Java. Proprietary extensions, loss of
security, reliability, etc. Embrace and Extend. :)
