Hi Robin,
Just had a look at the new ebuilds & eclass for PHP 4.3.2. It's nice to see
the latest PHP available so soon!
I do have one question though. What happened to the fixes I sent you last
month for Java support? They haven't made it into either the ebuild nor the
eclass :(
Best regards,
Stu

They are sitting in my list of things to work on. It seems that coredumb
has vanished. He hasn't responded to any emails I have sent him.
I have tried the one idea I wanted, based on your Java fixes, on one of
my development servers, and I'm not certain if it is causing some of the
blips I am seeing or not.

Is there anything I can do to help? I can make more time available for
helping with PHP on Gentoo, but it'd be nice to know that the effort will be
useful to you.

If you're not using Java inside PHP, then the Java extension is never
called. It doesn't even get loaded into PHP until the first time you make a
'new Java()' object.
Best regards,
Stu
