Subject: [gentoo-dev] problem with emerge [--pretend] system
Date: Tue Sep 4 06:55:02 2001	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <01090414543101.22751@epsilon.mdy.univie.ac.at> (raw)

Hello
I tried (twice) to build an rc6 system according to the new
install guide.
But both times I got the message:

Calculating system dependencies..................................
!!! Error: couldn't find match for virtual/x11

It starts alright when I remove "X" from USE (not finished
yet however...)

any thoughts?

regards

Tibor Rudas

PS: Thanks to all who helped me over the last weeks and all who
work on Gentoo! I really look forward to using it at work/home!
