Argh, yes, sure (should always make proof of concept :).
So there's another new variable needed to contain "/home/haubi".
Could HOME be used (this currently points to the portage-defined empty
homedir) ?
My suggestions if not: IHOME, INSTALL_HOME, HOMEDIR, TARGETDIR, HOMETARGET,
...
