Bugzilla refuses to accept attachments for the time being, I only get
the error message "No file was provided, or it was empty" when trying to
upload an attachments.
I have tried from three different browsers, namely mozilla, galeon and
netscape (v4 series), and all of them gives the same error message.
I have tried file upload on http on other sites, and have had no
problems.
Anyone else experiencing this problem?
Best regards

Yes, I have had this problem as well. Check out bug #71 for a workaround.
This seems to be a problem with users who are using ipmasq.
Hope that helps.

The workaround helped, and as I am using ipmasq that must have been the
problem.
Is this issue with bugzilla being looked into? At least a notice on the
web-pages should be put up so excelent patches for bugs won't get lost
due to bugzilla not accepting the attachments ;-)
Anyway, thanks for the help!

I don't know if this is and issue with the configuration of bugzilla, or
a bug in
bugzilla itself. A quick check of the bugzilla's bugzilla page at
www.bugzilla.org (phew!) revealed no bugs of this nature were open.
Anyway, I agree that there should be some sort of warning so people
don't get too frustrated.
IMHO, bug reporting should be made as painless as possible to encourge
participation. Anyways I hope there is an easy solution to this problem.
Cheers,

agreed, but
if that is what we want, i believe bugzilla is the wrong choice
- you can't report a bug without an account
- there is no email interface
i am not to familiar with any bug-tracking system, but the
bugtracking system KDE uses allows this

actually, gnome uses bugzilla and does allow email interface to
bugtracking... and no-user posting as well.... So that seems to be a
difference.
compare "bug-buddy" fex.
