No it doesn't work... also it seems that there is no file 'evolution.??'
in '/usr/share/locale/de'. I will reinstall it - no idea.

Start a terminal, check the $LANG variable 'echo $LANG'. Is it set
correctly?
If so, try to start evolution from the terminal and see if that works.
