The questions that it answers it answers very well; however, adding to it would certainly reduce the load on the gentoo-user list. As Sean says it is a bit threadbare. Even though gentoo is aimed at developers/sys-admins it is turning out to be a "learning distribution" . This is why I started using gentoo. I have used linux for several years but I have never fully understood the inner workings. Gentoo has helped me get on that road.
