Hi All,

There is a new release beta LiveCD available for testing at
http://www.gentoo.org/dyn/experimental/livecd/livecd-basic-x86-2002121700.iso

Fixes/improvements since last CD:
	*isdn4k-utils and ISDN kernel support
	*speedtouch userland added
*NVIDIA nForce network drivers added (new ebuild)
*Intel e100 and e1000 network drivers added
*some improvements to "Autodetection" output (not perfect yet)
*All NIC support is now modular and get auto-detected/loaded
(They were built into the kernel previously)

A stage1 tarball is located in /mnt/cdroot/gentoo/ after boot-up.

Please report all bugs and feature enhancement suggestions to
bugs.gentoo.org, under the product "Gentoo LiveCD (all flavors)".
Thanks. :)

Best Regards,

Thanks for petting the e1000 in there! Is the LSI-MPT driver slated to
get in there as well? (or is it in already).

This is for user Dell PowerEdge people (the e1000 was 1/2 of the
problem, the LSI SCSI controller being the other).

Best,
-Riyad

Hi

Does that actually include the PCMCIA stuff as well? I'm planning on
installing 1.4 on a Toshiba Portege 7140 laptop as soon as it's
released.

Thanks

/Fred
