Subject: [gentoo-dev] emerge rsynx

Hi!
I'm currently trying to install gentoo 1.0 on my local server... I have 2
questions:
1] when I do the env-update after chroot'ing to the gentoo sys it tells me
that "/etc/make.profile isn't available" - why? I followed every step in the
installation manual correctly.
2] it also tells me that a "emerge rsync" will propably fix the prob above,
when I do it has a timeout - my fault or is the server just too busy?
Greets from Germany,
Dominik
