I lose a lot off the > top. Hmm.. I'm not sure how to increase the bash buffer but if you are running in a terminal window there shouldn't be a problem. Since you are trying to merge nautilus I assume you have gnome-core (with gnome-terminal). It's easy to increase the buffer in it. Please post when you know what's the problem when building rsvg.
