[gentoo-dev-announce] Upcoming maintenance for {cvs,svn,git}.gentoo.org / *.overlays.gentoo.org

Hi everybody,

{cvs,svn,git}.gentoo.org aka flycatcher.gentoo.org and
*.overlays.gentoo.org aka pelican.gentoo.org will be unavailable on
2011/06/04 for about 2-5 hours due to maintenance, including major
upgrades like baselayout1 -> baselayout2 etc.

When: Sat Jun 04 2011
Begin: 10:00 AM UTC
Duration: Between 2 and 5 hours, in the best case a bit less and in the
worst case a bit more...

Read-only access *may* be unaffected during the maintenance.

I'll inform you as soon as the services are fully back again.

{cvs,svn,git}.gentoo.org aka flycatcher.gentoo.org should be back and
working again.

*.overlays.gentoo.org aka pelican.gentoo.org will take a bit longer
because of some trouble.
I'll inform you again as soon as overlays.g.o is fully working again.

*.overlays.gentoo.org aka pelican.gentoo.org is finally back. Beside
some (minor) trouble its a old/slow "lady", so it took much longer than
expected. Sorry for that but I wanted to finish the upgrade first and
reboot afterwards to ensure everything will work as expected afterwards,
without file corruption or anything else.
