Well, better late than never... It's my pleasure to introduce Gentoo developer Daniel Pielmeier (billie). Daniel joined us from Stuttgart, Germany. He was born in Rimbach a small village in the Bavarian Forest close to the Czech border, then studied process engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Regensburg and since 2005 he works for a small engineering company doing computational fluid dynamics. About one fourth of all installed packages on his desktop match media-* categories and he spent quite time on the multimedia stuff. Anyway he is not going to join any media related teams although some media packages are already improved by Daniel. In general he's going to join xfce, perl and eventually vdr teams. He enjoys watching movies and reading books which mostly deal with fantasy, science-fiction and mythology. He used to practice/try various kinds of sports not limited to soccer, volleyball, ninepins, hiking, climbing and half-marathon. Currently, with time mostly occupied by work he enjoys doing an occasional swim or jog. Daniel told us: "My Hobbies are of course Gentoo." With such spectrum of hobbies I'm sure he is valuable addition to our big team. If somebody forgot to welcome Daniel on irc, please, do it now. -- Peter.
