Following the opening of bug 236863 (Tracker Bug for the bylaws of the 
Gentoo Foundation Inc.) a proposed revision to the bylaws can be found 
at http://xrl.us/ouqhk

The main changes are related to qualifications for membership. See 
Section 4.3. Admission of Members.
If adopted, this revision allows developers to join the Foundation at 
any time and non develpers to join based on verifible contribuitions to 
the aims of the Foundation.

There are a few minor tidy ups too.

Please post comments to bug 236863, rather than replying to this email.

The bylaws update will be on the agenda for the trustees meeting to be 
held at 1900 UTC on Sunday, November 16 and if approved, would come 
into force 15 days later, in accordance with bylaws Article X 
Amendment.
