Thanks for the 0.4.7-r2 info, just missing a few bits to make the puzzle
fit together. Below is a snippet to run, can you please provide it full
for both 0.4.7-r2 and 0.4.8-r1? Attach them in bug #268961 and CC
yourself there.

# cat /proc/partitions
# multipath -ll
# dmsetup ls --target multipath
# for i in /sys/block/* ; do udevadm info --query=all  --path=$i ; done ;
# for i in /dev/sd? ; do parted $i print ; done ;
