[gentoo-catalyst] livecd/xdm problem (catalyst 2.0.1)

Hi to all!
In my livecd-stage2, I use those settings for the DM:
[..]
livecd/xdm: gdm
livecd/xsession: gnome
[..]

If i boot it, it works fine till the xdm starting, where complain about missing /usr/bin/xdm.

In the livecd /etc/rc.conf, there's no DISPLAYMANAGER setting;

I created the cd using root-overlay entry for /etc/rc.conf (with DISPLAYMANAGER="gdm") and all is fine.

Is this a bug?

Yes.

It's also already fixed in SVN, so there's no need to file a bug report.

I have seen that you have closed the xkb bug. Does Genkernel 3.4.6 will support union-fs for kernel 2.6.18 ?

No.

It isn't likely to have support for unionfs in the forseeable future.  I
have no plans on working on it, as my time is best spent elsewhere at
the moment.
