Synopsis
========

Multiple vulnerabilities have been discovered in libarchive, the worst
of which could result in arbitrary code execution.

Background
==========

libarchive is a library for manipulating different streaming archive
formats, including certain tar variants, several cpio formats, and both
BSD and GNU ar variants.
