There's a way to make 32-bit plugins work on native 64-bit konqueror, but
AFAIK it requires a bit of software not available from portage.  Look in
the forums if interested.  Since I consider binary-only programs to be
slaveryware and won't install it, and if there's source available, it has
generally been ported to 64-bit for some time already, I've not had a need
for that sort of thing personally and haven't investigated further.
