Am I missing something? > > no, you're not missing anything. just remember that kde4 packages all search for the nepomuk and strigi and if found they build the support for it if the package has its support. it's normal that the use flag to work for a selected package set, but i'd advise you to rebuild the whole kde4 set after removing the semantic-desktop and nepomuk (put also -nepomuk as a use flag). -- dott. ing. beso
