Subject: [gentoo-amd64] pkg-config dvdread issue
Date: Sun, 14 Sep 2008 15:11:29 +0000 [thread overview]

hi,
i've upgraded to libdvdread live package and found out that the
package has changed the include dir from /usr/include/dvdread to
/usr/include/libdvdread. it puts a dvdread.pc info into pkg-config
folder but this doesn't prevent dvdread based packages to find the new
includes. the strange thing is that the dvdread.pc points to
/usr/include as includedir and that the packages look for pkg-config
to find out about installed packages. what i'm wondering is why the
new include dir isn't recognized by default? is there someone who has
some clues?
thanks.
