Did I do something stupid when I updated QT to 4.4.1 last night? When
I booted the system backup KDE4.1 wouldn't come up because of a 'signal
6'. I've tried rev-dep rebuild, but it's not working either.

for me kde has been working with qt 4.4.1 for a long time and i've got
no problems. you might have to recompile kdelibs. this happens usually
with kde, but kde4 should not need it anymore. just try to recompile
it and see what happens.
